"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murder is less to fear"
Cicero Marcus Tullius
It is the media that is making such a celebrity of her.
I don't like Palin that much either, but I'd vote for a ketchup packet over Obama.
Personally, I think her chances were all but blown when she quit her job as guv. America doesn't like a quitter. However, I do think that media helps, and that she can have a great career as a GOP fund-raiser and talking head.
I also hope that media can accelerate you, as I've been a huge Huckabee fan since he made himself a proponent of the FairTax. Of course, that means the IRS would pretty much go and that would create a job-based supply shock in my field.
Come to think of it, GO OBAMA. Accountants will always be in demand when he's at the desk.
Ironically enough, I've done several reports on that and it's rather interesting. If I pursue my doctoral and do a dissertation, it will be a critique and analysis of Sarbanes-Oxley. I'd love to pick the brains of a few CEOs and CFOs of the Fortune companies.
Oh hell, where was I? Oh yeah. She's got nice legs so let's keep her around.
Not me. I find her endlessly amusing. Are you sick of hearing about Sarah Palin?
