Certainly all lawful citizens should be able to own anything other civilians can use in law enforcement. Since lawenforcement is about self defense, not offenisve attacks upon other nations, how can a politician say there is no useful reason for a doctor or cab driver to own a M16 yet some deputy sheriff is issued one

once we get that bottom limit established then we can talk about individual infantry weapons that transcend normal concepts of an individual weapon-such as a anti aircraft missile used by one soldier or a claymore mine.

Only speech directly calling others to commit possible and probable acts of violence should rightly be band. IE a priest calling on his parishioners to kill abortion doctors for Jebus, the KKK calling on fellow klansmen to kill blacks, or radical Imam's calling on the ummah to kill infidels for Allahbaba. Repugnant speech; such as, that delivered by that imbred closeted homosexual Fred Phelps I think could and should be taken care of under state or local public nuisance and/or public disturbance ordinances.

If I had some such range, I'd have a Barrett. I can only shoot 500 here.

Pretty much. I's have had one long ago, if not for that.

You -can- shoot a .338/50 at the state/national matches, but you cannot use a muzzle brake, so...
