No people have been saying this for decades.
[nomedia="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nLsCC0LZxkY"]YouTube- Milton Friedman - Why Drugs Should Be Legalized[/nomedia]
This is some of the Cartels handy work recently. I cant wait to see these guys as the CEO's for these new Mexican government "drug manufactures."
The message on the ground says:
"Michoacan family does not kill for pay Innocent more not kill all this is justice."
...and what these illiterate bastards are trying to say is:
'The Michoacan family does not kill the innocent for money and they will keep killing government officials for nothing.'
IF drugs are legalized, marijuana for example, the cartels are NOT simply going to fold up the tents, stop drug dealing, stop killing the competition, put away the guns and just "lay-down"(we're talking about peoples lively hood here). When the "Government approved, legalized, taxed, stamped dope is ready to sell, The cartels will simply shoot up the "competition" and the Government approved "drug" store. Seems people just want to believe that legalization will solve all the problems. All it does is create MORE problems. The gangsters, growers, money men, politicians, police, Government Officials, Federales, Military, etc, are just not simply going to lay-down and let ANY competition take away their multi-BILLION $ business. I understand what you all are saying but it's pure fantasy, and it's the same fantasy most people wanna believe in.
And when it comes to the decriminalization of narcotics the only thing we'll get out of that is legal weed. Narcotics will NEVER become legalized because of one reason and on reason alone: All the players in the drug game(US/MEX) cant afford to lose out on the money they make off of illegal narcotics...and I'm talking about government officials on the US side, as well.

Can't we just turn Congress off and then turn it back on again?
B) Cartels, Growers, Politicians, Mexican mafia, Aryan brotherhood, Outlaw biker gangs, Street level dealers, Lawyers, mules, truckers, boarder patrol, and most of all corrupt politicians are making too much money off of illegal narcotics.
Dittohead- If you were a border patrol agent in Mexico would you take $100,000 to look the other way for about 20 minutes?
How many black markets for legal, and reasonably regulated things do we see on a day to day basis?
