We use Redbox and iControl/ movies on demand.

But we also go to the movie theater just about every weekend.
I really love seeing movies at the theater.
Tonight we're going to see that dragon thing.

I tend to watch everything on megavideo, hulu, or on the producing company's website.

    Naughty naughty lol

Do you know if that is legal? (Uploading the videos... I'm assuming watching them is not specifically illegal)

I feel like I heard some kind of rule where people can't post more than a certain amount of a movie in one clip. So you could essentially post the entire movie in 10-20 minute clips. Don't quote me on that though.

I have watched one of these before, but it got annoying when parts of the movie were missing.

For movies: It comes on TV, I utorrent it on thepiratebay, or I see it with friends in the movies or over someone's house.

    So, no renting for me.

I agree. I've had Netflix for over a year now, and though it sucks waiting for new movies to go from "Long wait" to available, I'm willing to wait... I'll just watch another movie in the mean time.

And once they added the Watch Instantly feature, I was hooked. Only down side is the Watch Instantly movies are usually old or weren't very popular. But you will occasionally find some great movies.

TV shows are where Watch Instantly becomes amazing. Tons of recent seasons for great TV series.

Try the classic "The Rockford Files" with James Garner on Watch Instantly. You can watch an entire season in a couple of weeks. I'm waiting for "Combat" with Vic Morrow and Mannix to go on Watch Instantly.

    Re: Movie Rentals

I used to rent DVDs but since most movies are so cheap to purchase and usually come out before they're available to rent, I just buy them all. If it's not worth it to own the movie, I probably don't want to waste my time renting it either.

My movie DVD collection is in the thousands and still growing.
