No, even after the law passes, there still won't be a right to health care. You'll just have the ability to have the health care the government allows you to have. And keep in mind, this "right" as you call it could be repealed with a simple vote in Congress.

Yeah, **** the Constitution. Who needs that when the President can just find 217 idiots in Congress to vote around it?

I just voted "No." on the poll question.

As I believe the debate is over, and I haven't seen any of it, I can safely say that I will not be "Watching the Health Care Reform Debate on Sunday".

I think we all know that this will never be repealed. It will be embraced as tightly as SS and Medicare. That's why the Repubs fought so hard and so dirty to try to keep this from happening. The Dems did to them what they have perfected into a fine art. Hopefully, now the Dems will take the reins and use their power, while they have it, to do what is right.

You're probably right, because ignorant people like you will be screeching about losing a "right" if anyone dare ever propose this legislation be appealed.

The Dems have all but squandered whatever power they received from the 2008 election. I think you may be a very unhappy person come next January when the next Congress is seated.

Ahh, you're mad. It'll pass. I don't know what you've been watching but, the Dems have followed the Constitution, the rules of the House of Representatives and the Senate throughout all of this. All that right wing rhetoric and lies about Armagedon and the sky falling on top of us will soon be seen by the entire country as the bull**** it is. Then when all those people see how this bill effects them immediately they will vote Democratic in November. It's gonna be cool.

You and the rest of Congress have been wiping your asses with the Constitution. Don't try to blow smoke and tell me that anything about this bill is Constitutional. You can't even point to the provision of the Constitution that would allow for this sort of tripe, and the General Welfare Clause (go look it up) isn't it. Just admit that it is unconstitutional as hell, you want a new entitlement and you want to retain the government, and save the rest of the bull**** for someone who is too dumb to know any better.

So what I have learned so far is that either the bill will solve every problem in the world, or it will be the end of the United States. Got to love people who think rhetoric is debate.

Personally, I think we've heard a wide range of views and that's what the People's House should be. I am grateful for that.
