Fire (like, water, ice and shiny rocks) falls under the category of "discovery."
The sun is a nuclear reactor, not fire.

    Oh my God, the sun!

    What's that?

The printing press, which made it possible for literacy to become widespread and for information to be shared beyond the face to face level.

Its not in the middle of the universe, or even our galaxy.

Personally, I am glad the sun isn't in the middle of our galaxy, since that would make us die. Its nasty over there.

My guess is that if the big bang did happen, than the universe does have a middle (but if space and time stretch, it may not be in the geographical center), but I have no idea what the environment there might be like. It might be empty space since the big bang blew the load.

The sun is a mass of incandescent gas
    A gigantic nuclear furnace
where hydrogen is built into helium
at a temperature of millions of degrees

    The sun is hot

It is so hot that everything on it is a gas
    Iron
    Copper
    Aluminum
    and many others
    Science with a ska beat!
