Conservative obsession with Pelosi is even weirder than liberal obsession with Palin.

It must be because they're threatened by her.
It's funny to see how afraid they are.

/ sarcasm.

You wanting some of that?:2razz: Honestly why wonder about this? She seems frigid to me:shock:

I wondered when I saw her picture today. The woman is seriously strange looking. I'm sure, however, that I'm the only person alive who ever speculated regarding the sex life of another person... ;)

Not to go to Shallow Land but she looks all crazy and is fixing to look like Joan Rivers on Crack if she does not stop the work she getting done to her face. Just saying.

I cannot stand her and she annoys me:2razz:

Beyond a certain age, a woman just can't win.
She diets at the expense of her skin.
It becomes a choice of being fat, or being fug-faced.
At least Nancy Pelosi doesn't appear to have had any obvious work done (I think, based on the "young" pictures, that her nose was always like that).
Which is more than most middle-aged women in the public eye can say.

You Really do not think she has had no work done? The womans face screams Botox and she has that plastic looking smile these days where her face hardly moves:shock:

Yeah, I really think that.
I don't think Pelosi's had her eyelids or her neck done, and that's where she'd probably start, if she was going to do anything.
She's just skinny, and old. Her skin's lost elasticity. If she looks weird, that's why.

My proper and well-thought-out answer is:

Why the **** should I give a ****?

Ok, the woman looks so cadaverous and intense, is she frigid or is she capable of enjoying a gratifying sex life? She stays in shape and she's obviously had plastic surgery. Does her relentless quest for power turn her into a sex machine, or is it a sublimation of her libido in a classic Freudian way?

Also, what's the deal with her nose? It has a Michael Jacksonian appearance. Did she have it altered at some point in time?

You talk about women like they are a walking ham hock. Even those that are clearly smarter and better than you.

You should die.

How do you keep managing to post, if you're banned?
That's a neat trick.
Love MDC, by the way. They're from my town originally. One of my favorite old-skool bands.
However, they are male, so I guess... kill them?

Gross! How dare they enter politics, thus necessitating our having to look at their monstrous images in the newspaper daily?
They ought to conceal themselves in a closet. Freaks!

Studies conducted on some insect species, the unifying theme being that the insects procreate in quantity and often, found that mates were picked on their symmetry. Interestingly, what is generally considered "beautiful" is symmetrical. In addition, symmetry was discovered to be strongly correlated with good genes. Our sense of "oh, that's hot" was not merely built upon some nonsense about nose size and eyes. But, instead, a biological function that enables us to figure out who is the most qualified to carry on our genes. Thus, what I found interesting, ugliness can be generally correlated with poor genes (don't take my word, search on Google yourself, 'symmetry and genes'). And while we can't make too many sweeping generalizations about ugly people, their genes could be of poor quality in only a few unique areas, we could make a general statement about the most freakish looking woman in America (e.g. Nancy Pelosi).

At the very least, we can conclude that there is a large quantity of better-qualified individuals in America's population.

Though, of course, qualification has never been important in Congress.

I've read this; I know about the golden ratio and all that.
I know the evolutionary rationale behind this theory (that in ancient times, we looked for mates with symmetrical faces and bodies, because visible asymmetry often indicated microscopic asymmetries inside the body; thus, a high degree of symmetry correlated to health and fertility, and that's how our universal idea of "beauty" was formed).

But I don't think it's applicable today.
If that was ever a criteria for finding a mate, I think it's become rather obsolete.
Recent studies have shown that the "ideal face" (based on the golden ratio) is not very aesthetically or sexually appealing. It's very bland, by today's standards.
Studies show that people today find "interesting" (ie, with some degree of asymmetry) faces to be the most beautiful and compelling.
Part of being evolved is that we can now celebrate our differences.

That said, is Nancy Pelosi really all that asymmetrical?
I think she's just old and wrinkly.

Why?

What's the fun in that?

It funny how uptight some of the posters are here when you do a off the wall poll like this. They suddenly get all straight-laced and proper. They claim they, themselves, have never had an impure thought, and would never, ever speculate about the sex life of any political leader. :2razz:

I didn't say anything remotely like that. It's actually pretty juvenile that you think that too.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. ;)

You can be pretty insulting when you disapprove of something, I've noticed. Do you think you can strongly disagree without calling names?

Hold on a sec - you just caused the hypocrisy meter to explode, and it's causing tremors I can feel from here.

Ah, that's better. Now, what were you saying? Insulting? You think I shouldn't be insulting about you posting a message about Nancy Pelosi's sex life and personal appearance?
