How about Ron Paul?

A hell of a lot better than that stinking Ulysses Grant.

A hypocrite congressman?

A hypocrite Congressman who decided to ignore the attack on the USS Cole when running for the presidential nomination of 2008, and blamed the US for Iran's harassment of a US Navy destroyer in international waters?

No, we don't need turds on our money.

On the fifty dollar bill? How about a fifty dollar ho? It would represent our leaders quite well.

EDIT: Due to inflation, and the falling dollar, make that a five dollar ho.

This is surprising. Why?

You don't have to be a President to be on money. He was a great leader in bringing about equality for all. He did the work. Johnson just signed the legislation.

That is a good try, but Johnson did do a great deal of work. It is hard to have one without the other, IT.

I'm not saying that Johnson was irrelevant. His sacrifice was small compared to MLK Jr's.

Why not Johnny Cash? Like in the 1642 series by Eric Flint?

BTW Jimmy "the Peanutman" Carter not eligible since he is still alive.

Actually, lets keep grant on the 50.00 for now.

What about the 500.00 bill? given inflation we will be needing it soon.

of your list i would be against FDR having his visage on any paper bill at best he got us a foot in the door for WWII and at worst he was the closest we did get to a dictatorship in the US and yes i am including Wilson in that.

I think that Regan, Eisenhower, or Patton would be great for the 500.00 bill.

Ron Paul....

Robert E. Lee

Stonewall Jackson

Nathan Bedford Forrest

The ATM machines should give out 50s rather than 20s.....
Then the silly one-tenth of a penny price should go......
Reagan - best 20th century President , your opinion, don't try to pass this off as a fact..
I see no reason to make any change....not here, anyway.
