I work full time although my company does strategic week layoffs every so often.

I've been thinking of getting a part time job to toss some extra money in savings.

No.

I am insane. I lost my last three jobs, one way or another, due to being insane and I have blown several job interviews essentially by scaring the interviewer. The only reason I am not currently institutionalized is that I am mostly okay as long as I stay sedated and locked in my bedroom. I am following my doctor's advice by not attempting to work and filing for disability benefits.

Social Security, of course, says that I should be perfectly capable of "simple, routine work" exactly like the kind that's had me in and out of the hospital-- psychiatric and otherwise-- for the last two years.

I don't like the taste of government cheese and I'm determined not to subsist on it. As long as I'm stuck at my computer anyway, I am trying to develop my writing into a legitimate career-- starting with my gaming business and hopefully branching out into fiction.

One fascinating character, the Rat.
I am not nearly in as bad shape, but then, I retired, "no more need for meds".
And, seriously, thank God for social security. .and government contractors.

No, retired.
Work on my hobbies, work on life.

I keep computers functioning and do programming and database work.

I'm not sure how to answer this. I am a stay-at-home Mom. And I also am in the reserves. So, depending on the viewpoint, or the statistics being looked for, I could answer several ways. Full time as SAH Mom, but not paid. Part time, as a paid job, but then I only work so many days out of the year. (1 weekend a month, 2 weeks a year really isn't accurate for my reserve duty) The Reserves considers me unemployed, because I have no civilian employer, and very few could live off a Reservist's paycheck.

Not working currently. I'm enjoying my life as a college student leeching off of my parents like a f*cking loser.

Life is good ...

No seriously, I would like to work, but studying for my major is a part-time job as it is.

I work fulltime through a contracting company to IBM on a project that builds and maintains the systems for FEMA, including the system to manage financial requests due to a disaster (the piece I work on). It's cube land with lots of procedural bull****. I want to develop apps for the iPhone.

I work full time - 40 hours a week.

I work full time at a job I love.

I work fine Chelle.

Wanna check?

This definitely puts you in the full time work category.;) Raising children is a really hard job which requires many hours spent in stressful situations.

I work full time running the small business I own.

I'm retired from the military, work full time 40 hours a week for the gov, work 36 hours a week at a local hospital Fri-Sun (on call), and do 12 hours pro bono during the week in the evenings. And I'm in school full time (Friday night and Saturday day classes). Now that I write it and see it...I'm also certifiably insane. Luckily...I know people that can help me with that!

Funny you should ask...

Holy crap. How do you find time to post here?

I'm a ninja. When I'm not swooping down from dark ceilings and killing people with sharp blades, I work on mothering my two kids.

Maybe it's because you don't sleep. Thumbs up- I don't know how you do it. I find it difficult enough just to work a full time job and still have a good life.
