Probably not if he were serious.

Keeping his platform alive, sure, run, but the man has reached that age level that might do some damage.

This would ensure that a president is not picked by only 10% of the country.
    Just to yank your chain

    What!!!

That is what the french do. Do you want America to become more like the french, cheese eating surrender monkey's

But in truth it is a very good method for determining a president

I don't see eye to eye with Ron Paul on many economic issues, but on social issues and foreign policy - He is right on. The sad part though is mainstream Republicans dislike him because he believes in freedom and anti-imperialism.

That's 100% true. It also explains why they were unhappy with the congressmans victory at the Straw Poll because they don't want him to win at all.

They did not go over a cliff by themselves. They were pushed by democracy. Of course we would trade.

    Your argument lacks weight.
    Thank you

The "cause" for the war lacked weight, that is why the people both of this country and the South Vietnamese eventually did not support it.

Its been the same with our 7 year war against the Iraqis.

I don't mind a libertarian for President so long as he's a moderate libertarian, and I don't think Ron Paul is one.
Yes, he WOULD work to shut down the unconstitutional functions of government. If this could ever be done, we would have greater prosperity than anyone could imagine.

Yes. We MUST clean out the oppressive, abusive and unconstitutional departments and functions of government.

    So what. I LOVE it.

    Great Congressman.
    AMEN!

Takes votes from Republicans that tends ta help Democrats.
Taking votes from Republican turncoats in the primaries does NOT give votes to Democrats.

    YES!

He is, without a doubt, the only principled candidate I've seen.

Being principled is one thing. It is an entirely different matter when one tries to govern an entire country and work with the congress to make it coherent.
