Not sure WHY my post was deleted.. But anybody that does not like a Southern Twang? You are missing out on lots of wonderful ear music.
*Off to eat some boiled peanuts and drink some SunDrop*

I'm a scouser, I sound like John Lennon, the person not the airport.

The word yes will do for me in any accent.

Microsoft Sam

None of the above. Certain Indian people speak English the most beautifully of all, IMO.

Girls with Scottish accents are cute as a button:

YouTube - Broadcast Yourself.

(sorry, I guess I don't know how to link youtubes on this site)

Kelly McDonald is in the first minute or so, and further you care to watch. Clive's accent is great too.

Aye. I cannot deny that fact. I lubs Scottish girls too.

Who hates William wallaces horrible scottish accent from Brave heart XD:thumbdown

And who thinks it was anything other than an American attempting a Scottish accent?

good call my friend XD gotta love the FAIL of america :)

LOLZ! I think that would be more accurately the fail of Mel Gibson, who couldn't act his way out of a wet paper bag, rather than the fail of America.

None of those accents listed come in my Top 10 favourite accents of English. The BBC did a big suvey a few years back and discovered that most British people liked hearing English spoken with a French accent best of all! That'd be on my list too. Also like Indian-English, Geordie, Somerset, Southern US (y'know, Dukes of Hazzard-ish), Kiwi and SW Irish (Cork/Kerry).

Needless to say, my native, rounded Yorkshire burr is sexiest of all.

I like it. I had a co-worker who is Maori, and one of my fondest memories of him is hearing him sing karaoke to "I'm a Cowboy" by Bon Jovi. Heh. He was REALLY, REALLY good.

11 People picked the Irish accent...

Which one?

Liam Neeson (Ras Al Ghul Batman Begins)
Pierce Brosnan?
Gabriel Byrne (Usual suspects etc.)
Colin Farrell?
Colin Meaney (Cheif O'Brien Star Trek) and his Dublin accent (mine too)

Or that darn Lepruchaun in the Lucky Charms add whos accent seems to come from somewhere between west cork and Jupiter.

For such a small geographical area its got quite a few.
