Never, it's cruel and inhumane. I'm totally opposed!
It's okay for research
Yes, it's educational for children
It's a free market decision to be made by companies such as Sea World
Only if the Orca is injured and needs medical attention
No new Orcas should be captured, but current captives need not be set free
Neither side in an argument can find the truth when both make an absolute claim on it.
So if they're willing to take the risk for the sake of the rush, who am I to tell them no? The whales are just animals, chattel property, to be done with as the owner wishes, no different than cows, except there's no market for Orca Cheese.
This sort of thing never happens in Japan

Orcas in captive? Sounds good.
As long as we can keep people like Kanye West and Carrot Top in captivity too. I'd like to see those creatures in a zoo.
Seriously, no, when you do this kind of thing, people get hurt or killed, then we say "oh this is so sad, blah blah blah."
I don't like it.

No, I'm not.
As far as I know, the well funded zoos take great care of their animals, as well as create exhibits that fit the criteria of what they need to be happy and healthy. Orcas are very large and need a lot of space. Nothing close to what they do in natural settings is possible while captive. They are not an "animal" that can be happily "caged."
