Healthcare including the food industry and the advertisment industry in my opinion.

Another one that sucks is the media industry, they need laws.

Any market is going to have problems, but its probably best not to intervene unless there is some real harm going on.

Most of what I see wrong with the food industry can be solved by removing subsidies on corn.

I think the internet is becoming the great regulator against media companies, so I am wary of suggesting anything be done there. Especially since free speech issues are involved. However, I am in favor of restricting corporate political speech unless there are no foreign investors in a company and I think news companies should only have domestic investors as well, at least where politics are concerned.

Advertising is a subject that is becoming increasingly frightening as psychological sciences improve, but I am not sure what should be the fix.

How about..Fiscal Conservative but Social Liberal...

Food is an epidemic problem of epic proportion in todays world. Its imminent that the food industry is put under control, that food advertisment and labels are stricktly controlled by law and limited in the case of advertisment. Furthermore there should be restrictions on certain foods, and they should be labelled the same way as cigarettes. Also there need to be a whole new level of dietary education from a young age and throughout life. This has to be accompanies with appropriate activity programs and incentives.

Then you arent looking at it in the right way. Coca cola and soft drinks for example is a global sickness, only detrimental to human psysical and mental health.

Media need to have laws, just like the people, where they can freely operate within those laws. There are hundreds, possibly thousands of reasons why our society cannot progress to the next level before the media is under control.
The internet is a valid point, but certainly nothing against the powerful media, who can also spread their garbage and polarized propaganda on the internet, actually the people are doing that quite well for them.
