    it really depends by how much the winner wins by. automatic recounts probably occur when the vote margin is under say 1 percent. every state has it's own rules for recounts.

    I say if the Democrats start pulling A Franken and begin manufacturing more votes than there are voters that the GOP should do the same thing in response.

    It's possible that Coakley could get more votes than there are people in China.

    They've started the machine... The Koakley Kamp... claiming voter irregularities. Link at bottom.

    It's nice to see the Democrats, given enough rope to hang themselves royally, take every last nanometer to accomplish the task.

    And downunder... Ted is cleaning out the bar.

    I voted "none", but skip the JHS-level cyncism
    of that the threadstarter struck onto the end
    of the option.

    I thnk Coakley will win 51% or more of the vote;
    enough of a margin so that Brown will concede.

    A conservative conceding when there is no political advantage in it? Who knows maybe things are different in Mass vs Minn

    I know, and if you take another look at the Minnesota returns
    and I am quite sure you will see the margin was well short of 51%.

    In NC Elizabeth Dole conceded to Kay Hagan well before midnight.

    No advantage or disadvantage to it; she was just whupped.

    Wait, Elizabeth Dole is conservative, isn't she?
