Uhh...

I saw only 36% reporting, and it's within 5 points...It seems it could go either way...

52.6-46.4 Brown. 66% of precincts reporting. This election is all but over.

EDIT: Coakley has conceded. The end.

Not if Ed Shultz gets his large rear in gear

What's funny about my statement?

Isn't it flat-out true?

A 5 point deficit with almost 40% reporting is a near cinch, unless there are a couple huge districts that can swing it.

We're in MA, the formerly Communist State of MA.
The state that voted Ted Kennedy in for 4 decades.
His seat. 5 points in that climate indicates earthshaking "CHANGE"!

A 5 point lead spelled the race was over. Done. Cooked. Except for the counting of how big it would be.

To think... Ted Kennedy delivered the death blow to Socialist Healthcare.

Thanks Ted.
Timing is everything.

Coakley called Brown to concede; the AP has called it. It's done.

Praise God!

Am and have been listening to Air America for the past couple hours...

LOL...

It's no wonder they only have 6 listeners.
The best comedy I've heard in ages.

They're so depressed, they stopped talking about the election already... a mere 10-minutes after the concession!

I guess they did it to prevent mass suicides.

Ahhh! Wasn't this one of God's apocalyptic signs? Capitalism should lead to communism, not the way around! The end is near!

Hopefully this will put an end to the Kennedy entitlement.....:)

No. Not really. Not with that many votes already reported.

Oh, btw, it's now 53% to 46%, getter more American all the time, it seems.

Eh, Brown won.

I was hoping he would.

Why does this matter in Massachusetts? Meeting an actual conservative Republican in Massachusetts is about as easy as bumping into a gay Republican in L.A. - I mean there is always Jallman. But that is about it.

I blew it.

A wholly understandable conclusion.

We have to thank Obama, Pelosi and Reid for huge assists on this one.
Bungling things so badly so quickly was a great aid.

...looks all all the repubs came out of the closet. ;)

Nah, my main reason for hoping so was because I dislike long-term control of any seat by any one party/candidate.

IMO, long-serving members of the government are one of the main problems our current system has.

Edit: And while I may agree with the "Repubs" on some things, I would by no means identify myself as one.
