What do you think? Are there some people who, as a group tend to be cursed by God?
I believe God can do those things.God has in the past mostly in old testament times. However if God still cursed people or a nation today for pissing him off then it would be a whole **** load countries and states being wiped out and or cursed by God nut just a few countries here and there. Roberson is a con artist probably trying to milk viewers for more money by claiming we need to give more donations so they can send missionaries and other things to help the poor people of Haiti whose government sold them out to Satan.
"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murder is less to fear"

Maybe that's because the authors of the old testament lived in some pretty brutal times and the novel reflects this.

Nice God. The government sold out to Satan, the citizens pay the price.

Before we ask if God can curse, just explain me this:
If God (let's assume He exists) is spiritual, then how can he affect the physical?

Do you propose that the two realms (spiritual and physical) are intertwined? How so?

This is ridiculous. Pat Robertson could have at least waited till they finish counting the dead before he started damning these people

He's an extremely ****ed up heartless man.. That's all I will say for now.

    That's a prophecy, not a curse.

    Not a curse, either.

Psalm 9:17. That's in the Old Testament, spanky. Duh.

If God is real and his Word is true then he absolutely does curse and bless nations.

He also forgives the penitent fully and restores the fallen gladly.
Not sure who you are speaking to with this tangent ...

No, but they can be punished by Allah. Such as the stupid Yahweh-worshiping infidel who started this gay topic.

Or wait, was it Zeus? I forgot.

Why do you create such unintelligent polls? You might as well create "Can pigs fly?" as your next one.
