What do you think of the phrase?
If he isn't a bigot he is ignorant.

So you and your friends are bigoted morons. Explains a lot of the other posts I have seen from you.

How is it being a jerk? I don't care if my roommate uses some racial slur at me, and I'll probably find it funny. Likewise for him.

C'mon, tell me this isn't hilarious:

If it is a joke why do you do it behind closed doors? What exactly about being derogatory about others do you find funny?

It's not something I would say while bidding for the job, though.
You are a ******* idiot, I probably won't say that on an interview either.

Actually, I kind of liked it back when it first came to be used. I think it's a great slang word.

But, on its face, your comment is hard to interpret any other way: you are saying that the indignation felt by other races when confronted by racial slurs is "laughable" in comparison to your (warranted) indignation when confronted by the word "nigger."

Why would your insult be any more painful than a similar insult would be to another unfairly maligned minority?
Because whether or not you want to admit it, calling a white person a redneck or honky is more socially acceptable and less offensive than calling a black person a nigger.
