    Both are wrong.

The simple solution might be to change the treaty and not allow the whale meat to be sold in markets.

"prop fouling" iswhat they were doing.

Ships Collide In Antarctic Whaling Clash - CBS News

The Institute of Cetacean Research, the non-profit organization that conducts the hunt, said the Ady Gil came "within collision distance" of the Nisshin Maru's bow and repeatedly dangled a rope in the water that could have entangled the ship's rudder and propeller.

The Ady Gil's crew lobbed small projectiles designed to release a foul smell, and the whalers responded by firing high-powered hoses to keep the Sea Shepherd vessels away, the institute said in a statement.

Here they are clearly aiming something at the ship.

the ship had a right to defend themself from these terrorists.

Sounds like most violent crime. Should bank robbers and kidnappers be tried on charges of terrorism, since the penalties are stiffer?

I have no problem with whaling, just as I would have no problem eating an endangered species.

Who shall ascend the hill of the Lord? And who shall stand in his holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to what is false, and does not swear deceitfully. Psalm 24
"True law is right reason in agreement with nature . . . Whoever is disobedient is fleeing from himself and denying his human nature [and] will suffer the worst penalties . . ." - Cicero

Are you trying to convince me you are not as intelligent as I give you credit for?

**** YOU Tucker. No stealing my shtick

You were really the dolphin, weren't you!

(Yes, the **** YOU was meant as a joke with the video, not legitimate)

    As to this...

I agree, without more evidence its hard to really say who was fully at fault but I don't doubt in the least that this was a case of the protestors essentially attacking the whaling boat and the whalers finally defending themselves.

The definition you provided didn't say that it was a necessary requirement.
