    Whaling is illegal in most countries and those creatures are being wiped out of existence by Japan's greed.

    It was not an american vessel.

    Furthermore the japanese ship was not the agressor.

    The smaller vessel may be charged with something as well, but the captain of the larger one will have to answer for the deliberate ram.....
    Sounds to me like your more pissed off about why the smaller vessel was in the area, than anything else......
    The most likely scenario is that they will both be charged with something, with the larger vessel bearing more of the culpability & paying damages......
    Since there was no loss of life, it will be easier for prosecutors to come to a deal......
    Frankly, I'm curious of the outcome, hopefully one of our members from KIWI can keep us updated as stuff like this goes off the radar after the initial hulabaloo.......
