I'll bet Rush has to have a bodyguard. So many hate him.

I used to listen to a Denver talkshow host, Alan Berg. He was a raging liberal, similar in style to Michael Savage. He used to rail on and on against guns and hunting. He ended up getting gunned down, I don't think they ever caught his killer.

How many people listen to this woman:

    Dr. Laura

I've tried a few times.. just can't get into it. As soon as she talks about a woman's "role" I have to find a trash receptacle and speedily vomit inside it. If you've ever listened to her, you'll know what I'm talking about.

She makes some good points, when she isn't being a subserviant ass kisser and religious zealot - which isn't enough times in a broadcast to give a decent listen.
Fool me once, shame on you.
    Fool me twice....shame on me.

Not only do they not get the joke, but they don't get that the joke is on them. He tweaks liberals like that all the time. The people that get offended by it are exactly the kind of people he wants to offend and the rest of us are laughing at the joke and the people that are all sandy crotched about it.
Exactly. Rush comes on strong and never lets up, and if you don't appreciate the subtleties of his sarcasm, his show will either go over your head, or piss you off. What I like about Rush is his willingness to just be himself, no apologies, and call it the way he sees it. I would like the same things in those on the opposite side of the ideological spectrum. I value honesty in self-expression over pandering any day of the week.

As for Walter Williams- I love it when he subs. I would vote for him for president (or any other office) over any politician I know of. He's another person whose jokes go right over the heads of many.

Yes, I like Walter Williams and I also like Mark Stein. Have you ever heard Walter talk about the time he bought his wife golf shoes for Christmas?

So she wouldn't slip and fall while washing his car in the winter time.

I miss listening to G. Gordon Liddy. I think he's on satellite somewhere these days. I don't line up with him on all of his politics, but his badassity more than makes up for it.

Whats the Fascists obsession with Rush Limbaugh?

It would be like all the democrats running around and being crazy about Alex Jones..

Both are radiohosts, need no more mention on a political forum. (so why the f*** have 100ds of threads about Rush Limbaugh?) I just shows that republicans are more extremists than democrats, or that there are far more republicans on this forum than democrats.

    Yes- he's a hoot!
From listening to him, I get the impression that he's more of a libertarian than conservative, at least on the ideological side of politics. What is really unique about him (to me) is his ability to think big and speak simply.

Good gawd no; she's annoying as hell. But she did pose for some naughty pictures when she was younger

We have him on our local AM radio. He is pretty good. Opinionated but not a loudmouth. Another good one on that station is Bill Bennett. He has class.
