I'm going thru a non drinking phase I guess like the one I went through during college. I've lost all taste for it. I have like a 7up after work to relax.

Me neither, but I had a heck of a hangover 1st of January.

Pretty much the same here. I used to drink quite a bit, mostly socially. Then one day, a friend took me out for drinks in a bar, I went home, realized just how stupid it all was and how little I really enjoyed any of it and that was the last drink I had in my life. That was more than 20 years ago and I don't miss it a bit.
There is nothing demonstrably true that religion can provide the world that cannot be achieved more rationally through entirely secular means.

That's a great story! I know too many people that I don't know anymore because they are boring drunks and I avoid them. The friends I have now all used to drink but that has gone out of style. Especially if they have kids. People admire that I don't drink. We all just ordered some ginger lemonades for dinner at a nrw place and enjoyed them a lot. Some vodka would have ruined the health vibe.Good on you!
