Yea, I am sure John Wayne would say the same thing about Obama that he did about JFK, even though the comparison between crab bisque and a can of sardines laced with strychnine would be about as accurate as comparing JFK to Obama.
What's wrong, Martin? Conservative harsh words re: Obama are a-okay, but my words about those conservative words are dirty pool?
Justifying a behavior by pointing to someone who did or said something worse is ridiculous when kindergartners do it. Even less effective when grownups do it.

I never claimed "dirty pool". You can say whatever you want, just like Rush, me, John Wayne, Adams, Jefferson, and so on and so forth. I just wanted to put the remark into context and point out that harsh words are nothing new in politics and that we are not entering an era of neo-rudeness as your example would suggest.
BTW -- saying Constitution and Bill of Rights is redundant... just saying...
