Global Warming Vs. Abortion - True or False

We have more evidence for life at conception than for man made global warming.

I don't need to learn about the evidence for either topic, because that wasn't the question you asked. You asked which one has more evidence. How does anyone here know the answer to that. Is their an official website somewhere that says that "life at conception" has X number of scientific studies to back it up and that "man-made global warming" has Y amount of scientific studies to back it up?

See? I have no idea which one of the two has more studies to back up its findings. Do you?

Nor do I know (with absolute certainty) the answers to any of the other polls in this forum.

When placed in that context, my answer is false, since I've read more articles that backed up man-made global warming than I have about the ambiguous phrase "life at conception".

Individuals do not get to subjectively define things. Words already have established definitions, so if you're seeking out a subjective definition, your argument is folly from the start because neither one of you are basing what you say on objective fact. You are each going to assert only opinion.

False. Life at conception is a spiritual argument and therefore cannot be "proven". From a biological perspective (which is the only one which matters in law), a fetus/embryo is not a human so it is fact that human life does not begin at conception.

It is also fact that man-made global warming exists to a certain degree, as has been established by science. So the discussion is now moot (if it had any point to begin with other than a strawman).

But, the million dollar question is: is it constitutionally protected human life?

And the answer to that is: no, not until it's viable.

And this one has three. So it's important to know which of the three meanings he's referring to when he says that life begins at conception.
 
Its rather obvious that human life begins at conception, and I think the intelligent abortion rights people accept this(deep down).
There is also evidence of global warming; again, a matter of intellect.
The two, of course cannot be compared in any way.

When someone is genuinely perplexed, they don't normally come out swining, calling names and trashing the thread.

Were the shoes to be on the other foot,... if I really didn't have an answer to the poll question,.. and if I really wanted more info... I might ask something like,...

It's not a comparison,... but thanks.

The poll question basically comes down to "which is most supported (in your opinion) by scientific facts?" Life begins at conception or Global Warming?
