Does a new person's life "biologically" begin at conception?

Yes, I am willing to completely disregard and verbally rape logic and reason if it will save just one baby from a vacuum spike through the skull. Liberals are less likely to support abortion if they think those fetuses might be gay, or a tree, or an endangered rodent of some kind. 1. A moderate is just a liberal who thinks he is more open minded.

2. Liberals would be less likely, not more likely, to support abortion if it could be proven that the fetus was a tree, an endangered rodent, or gay.

Excellent!! There is a guy at work that will be delighted to know that his severely retarded cousin is not a person and can be put down at their earliest convenience. The expense and extra care he requires is a complete waste. I am so glad I live in a country where it is legal to kill unwanted people. Oops, I mean unwanted "creatures". :3oops:

Weak. How many IQ points does an 8 week fetus have? I guarantee it's significantly less than 40.

As long as there are pregnancies there will be abortions - either done in a controled environment or done at home or in a hotel. . . crude or otherwise. You can end a pregnancy in a variety of ways, really.

Are you saying that the difference between a person with rights, protected by law, and a creature that may be disposed of as an inconvenience is IQ level? Are you proposing the IQ level required to be a person should be set at 40?

When and if they commit murder it's WRONG!! When someone else does something wrong, it is still wrong for you to do it, even if they got away with it. It is a more accurate measure of a person's character what they do when no one sees them than what they do out in the open.

Fine. If someone wants to murder babies, they should do it in the most dangerous locations possible, and we should make it as difficult for them as possible.

Hint: Killing babies is wrong.
 
Oh - don't be so dramatic. Are you going to offer to adopt countless unwanted babies or something? Or are you going to lash out at those who don't wnat kids, demand they have them, only to hold a strong 'but i don't want kids, either' stance?
Can't be judging others unless you're heart and home is open to the precious cells.

I purposefully miscarried a few developing cells when I was 18 - and I don't consider that murder or wrong in any way, shape or form.

Should I bid a fond teary farewell everytime I bleed? Stage a funeral and curse God for the punishment of my period and subsequent lost offspring seed?

Hardly not - developing cells are not a 'baby' - and I won't get my panties in a twist over them in the least.
