ps - if you're telling him to stop doing something, aren't you forcing YOUR beliefs on him? Or, attempting to, more accurately
King James version or one of the retranslations into modern English?

As far as the OP, it's a parents job to decide what is appropriate or not for their kids to read, not some outside entity.
In high school, we read one of Chaucer's tales, Chanticleer, which had been censored. I thought the whole story was boring. It wasn't until I got to college that I found Chaucer to be a whole different being. The Reeve's tale was hilarious as were so many others.

I wouldn't rate it X, but some sections would definitely be PG-13 or R if they were in the theater.

I think I understand ToothpickVic's motive. Remember back years ago when they used to dare to air XXX-rated movies? People flocked to them. Now ol' Tooth is trying to get people to go back to reading the Bible. You got to watch those Christians. They're sneaky.

I'm against censorship. Besides , the easiest way to get someone to be an atheist is to have them actually read the bible.

It's morals are questionable at best. And that's only if your brainwashed into believing the god character can do no wrong.

You literally can get a better moral code from Aesop's fables and people don't go around believing in talking crows and foxes afterwards.

No, it shouldn't be limited to anyone. Other books with explicit sex in them are not limited to only people 18 and over, the bible shouldn't be either.
