I liked the Soviet anthem of stalin, this would be it:

Not surprising. However I dont know what you know and sarcasm doesnt communicate well written..

I like the French national anthem..
Ours should be "America the Beautiful".
But I have never heard the Russian one.
 
Hmmmm.... I think it sounded like a bunch of incongruent notes of grandiosity just flying off into the air. No rhyme or reason. No simple, identifiable melody.



But it was well played by the band.

So you thought I would seriously ask if there was still a Soviet Union? (Though you probably didn't read me talking about its demise and long-gone-edness in multiple threads, so no harm, no foul.)


It's the same anthem essentially, so I liked it when it was the Damn Commie Anthem and I like it now when it's the Russian Anthem.

The anthem is not the same,it has been modified.

The old version of the Soviet Anthem was a masterpiece,the new version is a piece of crap.

The difference between the Soviet anthem and the Russian Anthem (or whatever they're called) is Destalinization. They took out the crap about the crazy communist, and replaced it with sexiness befitting a real bear of a Russian, like Putin for example.
