I support remedial rehabilitation of aberrant apostrophes.

I support remedial rehabilitation of aberrant apostrophes.
Or "American's what".
And I support the truth being given out, not fanciful rhetoric nor yanking at my heart-strings.
President Obama , get on the ball!.
I have yet to see any definites, any specifics, anything that I can take to the bank.
And I am not one of those IC conservatives.
Is anyone reading this??

Election reform before health care reform?
And education improvement/reform.

If medicare and medicaid are in such bad shape what makes anyone think our government can make universal health care work.

Make both those systems work then come and talk about universal health care until then they have no right to talk about something new.

I can't believe people voted no.lol
I don't understand why this people don't want Affordable Health Care.

For somebody posting a questions like this, must be the most easiest question ever to say Yes for affordable health care.

Of course we all should have Affordable Health Care for all Americans.

Didn't y'all know that if you don't have a job or if you live in the street with no money, you will still have health care.

Don't you all want Affordable health care... wake up

What makes your government unique among developed nations in being unable to do what they do routinely?

Naive much?

Affordable Healthcare is not the same as Government Run Healthcare.

See: Post Office: Affordable Postal Service does not equal Government Run Postal Service. Though that new flat rate box thing they've got going now is a damn fine try.

Didn't y'all know that if you don't have a job or if you live in the street with no money, you will still have health care.

Great, let all the people who aren't bums pay for it too! WOOHOO!

Don't you all want Affordable health care... wake up

Yes! and an affordable Mortgage or Housing Loan!!! Why don't we ask the Government to intervene in the housing loan business?!?!

Healthcare is my choice (my privilege) not my right. I can't afford it nor do I really need it (knock on wood.)

As already said, affordable health care and government health care are two different things. If the question was just about afrodable health care then fine I would have voted yes. BUT (you knew that "but" was coming right?) since you made the OP about Obama's health care then I voted no. Obamacare is nothing more than a way to take peoples rights away.

You didn't ask whether we wanted affordable health care.

You asked us whether we supported Obama's health care plan.

We'll never have affordable healthcare until the politicians are willing to take on the major causes of the expense, the insurance industry and the lawyers. Of course, the politicians get tons of political funding from those two groups and therefore, will never willingly move against them. Any attempt without serious reform in those two areas is doomed to failure.

We can start by kicking HMOs out.

I voted no because:

1) No entitlement ever intitated by the government has remained affordable even if it started out that way. In the face of a deep and continuing recession, Obama's plan is starting out unaffordable and there is no way in hell it will be sustainable without totally and permanently wrecking the economy.

2) Very few, if any, programs initiated or managed by government have proved to be as economical, effective, or efficient as what can be done in the private sector. Therefore the government should almost never do that which can be done more economically, effectively, and efficiently in the private sector.

3) You cannot hand the Federal government power to dictate one eighth of the U.S. economy without severely eroding the options, choices, freedoms, and even the unalienable rights of the people.

4) I think even President Obama knows that use of the word 'affordable' in the poll option can be ignored because I think even he knows that it is a lie. And I think he doesn't care.

5) The only way to achieve affordable healthcare for the maximum number of people is to relax unnecessary or counter productive rules and regulations, and then provide the private sector incentive and opportunity to provide it.

You call yourself a Libertarian?

More like Liberaltarian.

Now to answer your question....No I do not support this "affordable" health care. These "affordable" premiums are projected to be higher than the average private premiums already available.

CBO: Public option premiums higher than private plans

People who lived on the street, or in the gutters a century ago had nothing.
I think this is what the Republicans want today.
And where is the Conservative health care plan??
At least health care for our homeless, I think, is good.

People who lived on the street or in the gutters a century ago received healthcare like everybody else. The difference is they expected to work for it as they could or find some way to pay the doctor what they could.

To say that Republicans want the homeless to go without health care makes about as much sense as me saying that you want Obama to continue on the current track which might insure everybody has access to healthcare but will make everybody homeless.

The Conservative healthcare plan has been cited and published ad nauseum. It proposes changing regulations and policies that are blocking some reforms, and are proposing to give the private sector incentive to repair what is broken and bring down costs. It does not propose gutting the entire system representing one eighth of the U.S. economy and turning it into a giant entitlement that cannot be sustained and that will likely wreck the economy even further.

Maybe you can name a single entitlement enacted by Congress that has not grown or is not projected to grow to the point that it is no longer affordable or sustainable. And you propose to give Congress license to do exactly that with the entire healthcare system?

I sure wish those supporting this program were better able to see what it is that they are actually advocating.

Actually the health reform is not Obama's (unfortunately). The weakling president went off like a vaudevillian performer declaring "public option? no way! I am non-partisan! Ha ha ha, ho ho ho!"

:doh

We have Harry Reid to thank for bringing it back from the dead. This country is much too capitalist, especially in health care, for its own good. Its about time that a government run insurance plan is available. I support it.

Yes the price of this bill is high but not high enough that I will dismiss it based solely on how much the health care reform will cost. I support it.
