The initial premise being that FOX NEWS is a NEWS organization is flawed to begin with. It's far from a News organization any longer.
It's the equivalent of right wing talk radio, entertainment for the right. They rarely actually report news any longer. What they do report is the right wing talking points.
They used to be the media outlet for the Bush administration, each of their commentators espousing the talking points sent to them from the White House by Rove each day, and passed on by their leader to the "NEWS" anchors.
It was pretty sad to see the research done on this new media showing that people who watched this entertainment network were very uninformed about the war and the lead up to the war. It also showed that they were misinformed on a host of other issues.
I guess for those who watch Fox, it's not so much about getting accurate information about the issues, as much as it's about hearing what you want to hear about the issue so you can feel justified about your ignorance....... "Because I heard it on Fox......"
I'd be pretty embarrassed to be so publicly misled by the media. Doesn't seem to bother Fox viewers.
I guess it's true, ignorance is bliss........
