You'll get no sympathy from me. Long bed pickups are the devil incarnate. You can't park one of those in a standard size parking space. I laugh at how stupid they look sticking out and causing problems.

    I had a Ram 1500 QC 4x4 w/ the 5.9. Got 18 on a -really- good day.
Too much truck for the engine.

Rides as smooth as a Cadillac. I've had over 4,000 lbs of concrete blocks on it, rode smooth as a Cadillac. I 4-wheel a lot in my business, rides smooth as a Cadillac.... and gets better mileage.

PS... if you know how to park, it's no problem.... maybe you have it confused with a crew-cab.

Could be. I didn't mean you personally had done this but some of those pickups are bad news for some drivers.

Ah, I park my full size cargo van in the "compact" spaces, hopefully between two itty-bitty hybrids or a Cooper Mini, then get out the back door.

Too bad those cars don't have back doors. I sat and watched the driver of one clamber in his passenger door and squirm behind his steering wheel.

    Loads of fun, that.

Ummm....a system's natural frequency is defined as the square root of the stiffness divided by the mass. Increase the mass, and the frequency goes down, and that's what gives the smoother ride. Caddy's have soft springs to provide that smooth ride instead.
