No, what I'm claiming is that if the reasons are the same, then using that argument towards why the state should recognize gay marriage is illogical. There may be other reasons, but this position does not prove the outcome. I'm NOT saying that because they are the same the state SHOULD recognize it; just that because they are the same, this argument CAN'T be used to NOT recognize it.They don't, but I fail to see the relevance. Well, I believe there is a substancial difference between thoes who oppose gay marrige and thoes who oppose it being tought to children, paraded about, etc.
