    Define nationalism and virtue.

Going along with what Independent said, it depends on ones definition of the question. I think that Obama thinks that he is doing what is right for the country, therefore improving it, and therefore is being patriotic. However, too many times I had heard him in the campaign (more often Michelle Obama though) say that he loves what the country can become. Try using that one on your wife.

Before some **** for brains globalist gives a bogus definition I will supply one.

nationalism - Dictionary definition and pronunciation - Yahoo! Education

    1.

Devotion to the interests or culture of one's nation.
    2.

The belief that nations will benefit from acting independently rather than collectively, emphasizing national rather than international goals.
    3.

Aspirations for national independence in a country under foreign domination.

I would have to say no. At least Obama is a little bit more honest about being globalist. Most of them pretend that saying I support the troops and waiving a flag while selling jobs to china, letting foreign countries and companies run our ports, restricting constitutional rights and selling this country out to globalism and illegals is somehow patriotic.

"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murder is less to fear"

SPIEGEL: Do you really believe that Obama deliberately wants to weaken the US?

Krauthammer: The liberal vision of America is that it should be less arrogant, less unilateral, more internationalist. In Obama's view, America would subsume itself under a fuzzy internationalism in which the international community, which I think is a fiction, governs itself through the UN.

    SPIEGEL: A nightmare?

Krauthammer: Worse than that: an absurdity. I can't even imagine serious people would believe it, but I think Obama does. There is a way America will decline -- if we choose first to wreck our economy and then to constrain our freedom of action through subordinating ourselves to international institutions which are 90 percent worthless and 10 percent harmful.

I've seen no real evidence that He does.

    well

being an internationalist isn't going to get him elected. If he loses support within America, then the Swedish liberals cannot vote him for another term.

Again, define your terms, if you can.
It's time for a revolution in our country. Not a revolution forged with guns and bombs but a revolution forged of compassion and altruism. A revolution that extends a hand to those who don't have and who cannot. A revolution that makes Health Care available to all those in the US.

No, and that's one of the reasons I voted for him.

Reminds me of a line from the Lennon song, Imagine:

    Imagine there's no countries
    It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
