How about the Afghanistan and Iraq war? How about the doubling of American military spendings, in addition to adding the war spending on top of that? How about lack of transparency? How about two party politics? How about your every 4 year selection of president? Yes, selection, not election. How about the ridiculous election process? How about all these things?

MOST Americans are ALWAYS mistrusting of the government - always.

So for people not to trust the government post 9/11 ... is the same as people not trusting the government post Cold War and post the Civil War, even.

People have never *trusted* governments becuase htey oversee, make choices that affect everything you do, and tax you mercilessly. No one likes that.

I think that this reflects that people don't understand just what the 9/11 commission was about - and why they came up with the results that they came up with and who started it, etc etc.

If you look at the link it says it is not a scientific poll. The way the question is worded it could simply mean that the people who do not believe everything the government is telling them could simply believe that the government may have knew that some terrorist were planning something not the retard douche bag conspiracy nuts who claim("claim" and "believe" are two different words) the the government masterminded 9-11.

Oh and do you have a source as to the Bin Laden family being at the Texas ranch at all during that visit?
