Dose everything in your life revolve around drugs? If it does that is really sad.

I voted no. Has nothing to do with his stance on drugs. It is his position on other things. I am not as are most of us a one issue voter.

I don't disagree with him on alot, but most of those things are pretty severe.

Source: [ame=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Political_positions_of_Mike_Gravel]Political positions of Mike Gravel - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia[/ame]

Senator Gravel supports the FairTax proposal that calls for eliminating the Internal Revenue Service and the income tax and replacing it with a progressive national sales tax of between tax inclusive 19 and 23 percent on newly manufactured items and services.
In an interview with the Iowa Independent, Gravel was asked what his policy would be on cocaine and methamphetamine. He responded, "We need to legalize the regulation of drugs. The drug problem is a public health problem."
In remarks at the Carson City, Nevada, Democratic Presidential Candidates Forum of February 2007, Senator Gravel has said that he disfavors wholesale or widespread deportation of illegal immigrants found residing in the United States.
He also may be a Truther. Overall, I would vote for almost any one before I would vote for him.

Anyone can run for POTUS so long as they meet the criteria. Which is very short.

"No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty-five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States."

Doesn't it seem like there's a comma error in there (I know you didn't copy it wrong, and that is the way it reads)? I wonder if grammatical usage was different in colonial times. With the comma placement like it is, it sounds like noone can be president unless they were a natural born citizen, or a citizen of the states, on the day the Constitution was adopted, way back when

I think more for things like being for legalized drugs and not deporting illegal aliens and being for a flat tax and being a truther.

Yes I know that. The question should be "Should Mike Gravel run President?" and not "Should Mike Gravel become President?". The latter implies he was offered the position and just needs to accept or deny it.
