Hey sometimes you just can't get them to stop. It's not always that easy.
The Makeout Hobo is real, and does indeed travel around the country in his van and make out with ladies... If you meet the Makeout Hobo, it is customary to greet him with a shot of whiskey and a high five (if you are a dude) or passionate makeouts (if you are a lady).

she got free passes as a result of the incident. I think that is more than fair. I would have only given her two passes instead of four, assuming she paid for the kid.

one time my toddler cousin threw such a tantrum in the airport that they asked my aunt not to get on the flight with him, and gave her a voucher to fly later. it seemed to me to be a very sensible move on their part, as the kid would have ruined a 2.5 hour flight for hundreds of people otherwise.

I think it seems fair to me. The bus company made a mistake and they apologized for it.

I think this makes sense, but is different than kicking someone off a bus.

meh, call me old fashion. There are worse things in this world than a crying baby. Throwing a mother and her child off a bus because the child is crying to me is one of them.

    Deal with it, you'll survive.

it was an overreaction, no question. but it is not a crying baby, it's a yelling toddler. I think this distinction is important. it seems more of a failure on the mother's part if she can't control a kid vs. she can't make a baby stop crying.

It was a toddler not a newborn baby.
I can make allowances for newborns or months old babies but a toddler? I mean, come on.

Why should others be forced to put up with a mother unable to control her child?

kids are like dogs. their parents/owners think everybody should love them.

i am sorry but i don't love your dog and i don't love your kids. if you feel like traveling with your dog - BUY A CAR - and the same for your retarded kids.
I have seen kids of all color throw tantrums. White, Black, Middle Eastern, Asian... This isn't a race issue.

if I had been there, I probably would have sided with the mother, just because it seems cruel to leave a hassled woman in a strange neighborhood with a kid and an armful of groceries. it is not impossible for the driver and other passengers to just deal with a kid having a tantrum for a half-hour ride (or longer...).

in principle, though, the mother kind of got what she deserved. her kid is too old for amnesty.

Because we don't throw mothers and thier babies out onto the street miles from home because we are annoyed?
