Just looking over the first few links, it would appear that you must smoke at least five times a week. Only then is there a possibility that your memory be impaired and your IQ diminished. I fail to see how this bolsters your argument, since I already stated that most things in excess are harmful.

I don't know because I really haven't used drugs, not illegal ones at all.

As a side note, I found it very interesting that the song that just came on as I was reading this is called "I Get That All the Time" by Due West. The first time I've ever heard this song or read this thread. It's about love from/for family being a substitute for drugs.

    The definition of Excess is

a going beyond what is regarded as customary or proper: to talk to excess.
immoderate indulgence; intemperance in eating, drinking, etc.

So the point he made was anything done that is going beyond what is regarded as customary or proper: to talk to excess. is in fact going beyond what is regarded as customary or proper: to talk to excess.

In other words.....a meaningless, circular argument. Anything done to extreme .......is being done to extreme.
This makes no sense at all regarding what I said.

If we agree on it, what are we arguing about?

I think this all stems from your response post stating that any drug is harmful in excess. The point I was originally attempting to make is that not all drugs are necessarily harmful.

I've actually sampled alot of binaural beat/wave generators and tone generators. Having your own tone generator and turning it up really loud and channeling the sound directly into your ear with in-ear headphones can be pretty entertaining. You come across frequencies that mellow you out, make you feel warm, that tickle your whole body, or even cause waves of pleasure.

Hooked up to a killer hi-fi system $10k + range would be a great way to mellow out while you do something... or nothing.
