"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murder is less to fear"
Cicero Marcus Tullius
Dear normal people,
Please do not let those single-issue pot-heads influence your opinion of libertarians.
The guy who wants to legalize all "victimless crimes".
Obama does not support decriminalization. Are you happy that Obama supports Medical Marijuana and Decimalization
I don't know his position on medical marijuana, but I'm inclined to say it's "tolerates" rather than "supports"
Obama says he supports Medical Marijuana, but if he is a man of his word on the issue he needs to work with congress to get Barney Frank's "Medical Marijuana Patient Protection Act" passed after the health care issue is finally out of the way.
As far as decriminalization of recreational Marijuana - He said he was for it back in 2004 but at the Democratic Debate he didn't raise his hand when Anderson Cooper asked who on the stage supports decriminalization
