But hey, never miss a good chance to rip religious people, right Cephus?
I never miss a good chance to tell the truth and you never miss one to make excuses.
There is nothing demonstrably true that religion can provide the world that cannot be achieved more rationally through entirely secular means.

I do agree that Palin is very principles in not just religious values, but to some degree also in supporting small government. Unfortuantly, though she is an idiot. She also voices her more radical principles... but only really relating to religious issues which true conservatives don't care quite as much about.

and most importantly, she was the vice presidential candidate and therefore she had very little effect on McCain's policies. It still would have been the unprincipled status quo regardless if McCain was ellected or not.

Which happened- what a coincidence!- right when the economy collapsed? Because that's when McCain's poll numbers plummeted.

There were some concerns about McCain's health and putting Palin in place to take over the presidency if anything happened was a scary prospect for many people.
