Re: Best Early pick for Republicans in 2012

I almost do hope the Republican party chooses Sarah Palin, for three reasons:

    1. I get to look at her on TV. (oh babydoll )

    2. I get to watch the media and the liberals explode with apoplexy that she dared show her face again.

    3. Somebody who isn't a professional politician with Ivy League cred and close ties to the party establishment gets to have some airtime.

I have no idea whether she could beat Obama or not.... I think a lot of that will depend on Obama the next three years... but it would be very entertaining.

I would say right now, Romney would have a good chance, but he is not my pick. I have also moved away from being a Palin supporter for president. So far, I like Pawlenty and Ron Paul, but Paul is too old now.

So, to choose the one I think has the best chance and would be my pick is Pawlenty. He balanced Minnesota's $4.3 billion deficit and created a projected $2 billion surplus without raising taxes. He is a confident speaker with a great sense of humor.

One to watch: Scott Walker. He is currently the Milwaukee County Executive and is running for Wisconsin governor in 2010. When first elected into the county executive, he cut his own pay. He balanced the county budget and created a surplus, the only such in Wisconsin. He is currently considering the elimination of county government in Wisconsin and shifting it to a state responsibility, streamlining government. It is probably way too soon for him to run for president in 2012, but I think he could be a viable candidate later on.

    Just a touch presumptuous Redress.
I also mentioned that there was only 10 spots, to assume there wsa an other option, and all that. It's not like I tried to stack the deck, it's an honest question. I actually used two mainstream articles to pick those on the list.

Because I see him as a libertarian, not a republican, because there is a max of 10 poll options, and because I did not think of him.

You waste your time using logic on a partisan troll. Save your breath for people worthy of debate and discussion.
