Advertisers to flock to Beck?

Do you think that advertisers, will flock to Beck in the wake of the Van Jones resign

I have to think that the hilarious resignation of self-proclaimed Communist and Truther Van Jones will be seen as a demonstration of the efficacy of Glenn Beck's program.

Mr. beck's attack method was to diabolically use Mr. Jones own public statements and recorded videos to foully, albeit fairly accurately, to depict him as a character from the Lunatic Fringe.

My question, is do you think that advertisers, especially those promoting traditionally "manly" products such as sporting goods, high performance cars and the like will now flock to Fox to advertise on the Glenn Beck Show?

Everyone knows here I am somewhat supportive of Glenn Beck. I hate, with a passion, the fact he brings "doomesday" and "prophetic" guests on his show that are all like, "ahh the end of the world conspirasez with popes and asteroird ****! It's Obama's fault too!". When it comes to actual politics, I tend to agree with him, if not on his personal views, with what he tries to do, expose each and everyone one of the douchebags in washington, democrat or republican.

So let me say this, everytime I see advertisers on his show, I feel every so slightly less enthusiastic about his message. Like he is really is being paid by various corporations to take sides on certain issues. the biggest irony would be to see the most excellent rant on Healthcare, and then just 5 minutes later during the break, see an ad by insurance companies. I could not honestly watch the show with a good conscious, and quite frankly, would force to believethat the liberals really are right about all this.

Advertisers may flock to Glenn Beck, but only those who can successfully reach that target demographic. High performance cars are generally out of the salary range of the average Glenn Beck viewer, and it's difficult to convince folks whose main diet consists of deep-fried mayonnaise balls and Little Debbies to go out and purchase golf clubs and soccer balls. High end exercise equipment is definitely out of the question, as most singlewide mobile homes have very little room for such things. I doubt the average Beck viewer wants to displace their aunt, uncle, cousins, and five blue ticks occupying one of their domicile's factory fabricated bedrooms with a treadmill, and I think most advertisers realize that.

However, I think the door is wide open for Bass Pro Shops, NASCAR, and Accent Mobile Homes. If they don't advertise with Beck already, they should consider doing so in the wake of his latest outcry over Obama's spurious perfidy. Weight Watchers may also do fairly well, provided Nestle and Frito Lay decide to overlook the advertising potential of Beck's show.
 
Maybe Stormfront will, most wont. Not at first.
 
You know, the Liberals used to carry a big stick in the 1970's. I remember when they were supporting Ceasar Chavez and the migrant farm workers, and got the growers to roll over and accept a union, because they organized a successful grape boycott. Later, when the price of meat skyrocketed, they again were successful in the meat boycott, which forced the meat packers to bring prices back down.

However, since the rise of Ronald Reagan, LIberals have only been able to whine about situations, and all attempts to do something about them have failed miserably.

I have a theory on that, which can be summed up in a single slogan:

Liberals - The official chew toys of the Republican party. :mrgreen:

I say no. Advertisers will only flock to Beck based on his ratings not whether he is right or wrong.

That's not quite enough. High ratings doesn't always equate to more advertisers. For one, many advertisers wouldn't be caught dead with ads on shows like Jerry Springer (back when it had stellar ratings). Nor would many today be caught having ads on WWE. If you offend your primary market by advertising on these shows, you're worse off, especially if the audience watching the high rating show doesn't buy your stuff anyways. Do you see J&J rushing to be on Beck? No. Because J&J likes to play it safe. Controversy doesn't work for many advertisers.

I'm sure even Alex Jones, Sylvia Brown, and Nancy Grace occasionally get one right, that doesn't mean advertisers will ignore the other 99% of pure horse**** that spews out of their mouths.
 
where was all this pissing and moaning about beck when he was on CNN Headline News, before jumping to Fox????????????????????????????????????
