57% Would Vote to Replace the Entire Congress.

Yep,,,I'd say there's Trouble brewing for the Status Quo.

57% Would Like to Replace Entire Congress - Rasmussen Reports

If they could vote to keep or replace the entire Congress, just 25% of voters nationwide would keep the current batch of legislators.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 57% would vote to replace the entire Congress and start all over again. Eighteen percent (18%) are not sure how they would vote.

Exactly....the OP is reading too much into this. This is almost always the case, people dissapprove of "Congress" but when you ask them about their individual "Congressperson" they don't share the same level of discontent.

Everybody votes for their legislators. Let's see a poll on current representative satisfaction.

B.O. drops a Point in one day...

Daily Presidential Tracking Poll - Rasmussen Reports

    Down to 46%.

Twenty-nine percent (29%) are confident that Congress knows what it’s doing when it comes to the economy. If Americans could vote to keep or replace the entire Congress, 57% would throw out all the legislators and start over again. Just 25% would vote to keep the Congress.

Not at all. 66% of the Independents are in the "Throw the Bums Out" Column.

Overall, 46% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the President's performance. That’s the lowest level of total approval yet measured for Obama. Fifty-three percent (53%) now disapprove. Eighty-one percent (81%) of Democrats approve while 83% of Republicans disapprove. As for those not affiliated with either major party, 66% disapprove. See other recent demographic highlights from the tracking polls.

Everybody wants change but nobody wants to make a change. Not sure why that is with people but that is pretty much how it is world wide. I can only assume that it is fear. We percieve career politicians as being the only ones who really know how to do politics. We are afraid that if we vote for a new face with new ideas that rather than repair the system they may totally destroy it and us as in our way of life right along with it.

So we stick with the evil that we know.

If this is the case, why do most congressmen seem to constantly get re-elected?

People have had no confidence in congress for most of the past 8 years...and we still have many of the same Senators and Representatives.

In fact, I would guess there are studies out there showing distrust for congress as a whole, but majority support for one's own congress members.

All them congress-critters are screwin’ us!

    Except mine.

I agree Mark. But, things won't "Change" until WE Change it. I'll do my part.

    Take care.
