Yes (includes SS, and other official Nazi militias)
Other (he served Hitlers regime in another way)
My grandfather fought for Germany in the first world war, the pic is him on a horseclic on pic
I have voted other, since my elders were in France during the Nazis' occupation. My mum's mum for instance had being made a maid for the Nazis as a young teen and ordered to salute Hitler's pic on the wall. She told me she would then whisper in their backs "Hitler Kaput!"
My grand-dads' dad was a Jewish immigrant. He came to France in the 20's to join his brother who had to flee Romania because he shagged a shikse. He was an honorable man, was an officer in the French army to fight the Nazis from 1939 to 1940. Only his son survived Hitler's final solution, he has turned 84 yesterday

My great grandfather was a stormtrooper who fought at Verdun. His main job was an anti-tank assaults/operations. Was awarded the Iron Cross 1st Class for his actions there. My Grandfather on my mother's side was in the boy scouts when Hitler started his whole mess and was automatically drafted into the Hitler Youth when all locally-run organizations were nationalized. He was sent to Sudetenland to qwell any uprising attempts , but didnt see any action. My Grandfather on my Dad's side was on a US battleship off the coast of Africa during Operation Torch, Dad was in the USAF, and I am currently serving in the Air Force as well. No Nazis in my family.
