I believe in actions, we'll see what he does. But from everything I've read and seen, he appears sincerely remorseful and will continue to work with organizations such as the Humane Society to promote better environments for animals.
Lots of people f up, lots of people do things that maybe we on the outside say "well that's common sense", and lots of people can come back from those things; learn lessons and live a good life while making amends for what they have done. I'm not going to get on the "bash Vick" bandwagon because he served his time, he paid his dues, he seems like he really understands what he did wrong and is willing to make amends for that. If he carries through with it, great. If he ****s up again, well he ain't gonna get much sympathy from people. But I ain't god, I'm not perfect, I've messed up. And I'd like to think that if I've done something really bad that I could learn from those mistakes, pay my dues, and be allowed to carry on with my life a wiser and more proactive man on the issue. So say whatever you want, but you don't know what Vick has been through and you seem unwilling to give him the shot. I'll wait and see how he carries on, but I'm happy to see that he is getting his second chance.
Vick says he has to live with 'shame' and 'embarrassment'
