You don't allow for either of those situations in your poll.
What we know is what's in the bill. The Dems wanted to pass the bill as is a couple weeks ago, so you'll have to pardon me if I'm not as confident as you are in the final product being a reasonable piece of legislation. But, you're right, it has nothing to do with the thread.

Freedom is one of those failed policies that PBO has been talking about. It's obvious that they're going to do away with freedom, because it's apparent that it doesn't work.

If I was theoretically an American, yes I would opt in.

Since my insurance company decided not to pay for my husband's cancer treatment, yes, I would be thrilled to find an affordable insurance plan which will not cherry pick and refuse to pay for things they interpret as a "pre-existing condition"! In other words, I would be grateful to pay for insurance that actually comes through when we need it.

My brother was diagnosed with cancer when he was 28. It is in full remission, but could come back at pretty much any time. Guess how much that little fact complicates him changing jobs.

You think B.O. and the Liberal Dems are going to give you a "Choice"?

Show from the bill where you won't.

I support health care reform and it doesn't matter to me if the plan is private, public or a combination of the two.

Gee, if the country wasn't screwed up, he'd be paying for his own insurance, and that wouldn't be an issue.

But only in free countries do people pay for their own tickets.

Everywhere else, people are expecting someone else to be robbed to provide those "free" tickets for them.
