I love how there is a debate going on about rural/urban population while people are weighing the positives and negatives of Oblivion, Morrowind, Fallout 3.

Cyrodill is mainly a rural province, by the way. So is the Capital Wasteland!

True say. Cyrodiil is exciting, full of amazing forestry and gives the real impression of a medieval world (or whatever). The wastelands are just crap, and the combat system sucks. Sorry, i just couldn't get myself to play it in the end. And you always come across random wasteland goons who try to kill you, its irritating. Cyrodiil just kicks wasteland arse.

I am a 17-year-old right-leaner - a rare specimen. Age almost definitely correlates with political lean - polls prove such.

Actually, my experience has been much different then what both of you describe.

Growing up on a horse ranch, surrounded by other horse ranches (all relatives), my family was and is very liberal and very well informed politically. Full of activist, radical types who've changed the social conditions for many not only locally, but in our state/province but have had an impact nationally in both Canada and the US.

Of course, we've been fighting both the US and Canadian governments for generations......

42, soon to be 43 and a very progressive liberal...... uh... Indian cowgirl!.....

No doubt about it. When I was seventeen I thought Jerry Brown, then governor of California, was just the coolest and hippest politician in the country. After all, he wore bell-bottom jeans and made regular appearances on the Tonight Show.

As I grew older I realized how dumb I was for ever admiring the nut.

You'll understand thirty years from now. For now, enjoy your idealism.

Well, for a lot of us,
it is one of the few
    pleasures of our
    declining years,to
    vote as a block
    to seize the wages
    of arrogant little snots

    to pay for our
    retirements, and
    occasionally
    beat their indolent,
    insolent little backsides

    for them, that they
    might understand
    that we all age,
    but some of us do
    it the way an
    oak does.

    Thanks for the enlightenment, grandpa!
