What Do You Think About Apologies?
I think they're overused, more often a formality than a sincere expression of regret, and virtually leeched of all meaning because of this fact.
I also think they're a waste of breath unless one actually intends to change whatever it is one is sorry about, and if one is going to change something, one might as well just do so, rather than making an announcement about it.

Exactly. I do not care about apologies. They last as long as the wind they are written on. What I want is our leaders to stop taking the payoffs and the easy paths and stop screwing us over.

That being said I would not mind an apology after they stop screwing us over..
    Thank you

It depends if the apology is sincere.

It depends. To apologize for something that deserves apology takes bravery and is generally a noble thing to do. To apologize for something that deserves no apology... that can mean a whole range of things, all of them bad.

I always try to apologize if I know i'm in the wrong, but believe me when I say that there is NO way to apologize for getting so drunk that you use your ex-girlfriend's pillow as toilet paper.
