I wonder what his next series will be? Is there anything more dangerous he can do besides gangs, pirates, and war?

Same but i have no doubt it would be as brilliant.

Well Ross meet with 'glue kids' in a Kenya special, seen that one?
Where the children have to scrape around in bins because they have no family and are addicted to solvents. It is very moving, i was moved to tears at some of the images

Why no women on the list?

Ann Coulter is a woman?

Good God, the things you learn on this board! :2razz:

My choice was easy, as I had to go will Bill Maher. Mainly because he's the only one on the list that is not "news" but more comedy/entertainment. He's funny as hell, too.

As for the rest of the lot, they could completely disappear from media, and the world would be a much better place.

This thread is hilarious! The person with the most votes is a comedian, not a "media personality". And who voted for him?

:rofl

Well I think it can be interpreted as a symbol of what people feel towards the so called "news" and information personalities. The list is incomplete, and only has overly partisan attention seekers.

huh?

All the people listed are media personalities.

...go get a cup of coffee and try again

Yeeeeaaaaaahhhh. Media personality = being in the media. Last time I checked, Maher still had a tv show.

So, using your logic, someone who appears on "Holidate" is now a media personality - GOTCHA!

...what is your definition of a media personality? :doh

Anyway, Real Time is 100x better than all those other shows combined.

Is someone from "Holidate" on that list? Nope. It would appear, however, that Bill Maher is certainly on the list. I'm sorry you feel that he's not a media personality(even though he has a show which he often uses to comment on politics, just like every other person on that list).

Will I agree (as I noted in my above post) that he is the only one listed who is different (he, on the Comedy Network, the rest on cable news networks), but all are certainly media. So I don't understand what your find humorous.

Bill Maher is on HBO.

But if the Jon Stewart and Steven Colbert (from the comedy network) were on the list, they would likely also be at the top.

No "other" option? I like stephen colbert he's hilarious.

the surprising result here is that Beck is beating Limbaugh

i guess people on this forum don't listen to radio ?

I like Rick Sanchez from CNN, too.

Bill Maher is funny to watch. I want to see his sack religious movie, Religilious. Never got a chance to see the Atheist standpoint of the world. I watch FOX occasionally to get a glance into what seems like a totally different world. Sometimes it's unbearable to watch for me. I don't really watch MSNBC too much, but, like I said before I like Rachel Maddow. Keith Olbermann's rants are great fun to watch, in my opinion, even if you don't agree with him. As for Limbaugh, he's just fodder for me to disagree with things. He's like a friend I know: makes a big fuss about everything and tries to have the most extremist view, while pretending to be offended by whatever someone says (offending other people in the process). I don't really like Colbert. He's too into satire. Jon Stewart is alright, if your in the mood. I watch CNN, but I can't stand Lou Dobbes. He just seems like an angry old man to me.

CSPAN for the win!

Watching Fox News is like watching pro wrestling or reading the national enquirer.

...you know it's fake, and you worry about the folks that believe it's real.

Very limited poll
I take everyone you have on that poll and raise it. Jeremy Paxman.

No one can find me someone better who got an answer from politicans and was entertaining because of his personality - His interviews were the highlights of BBC. He was a GOD amongst journalists when it came to making them squirm and his weather reports were legendary

YouTube - Blair

YouTube - Why Jeremy Paxman IS God[/URL]

And my favourite of all

YouTube - Newsnight Weather Reports - Paxman resists

"Its April, what do you expect?" :rofl

Come back to BBC Paxman, we miss you :(

BBC World News, the guy who hosts Hardtalk. He is such a bastard but he puts those politicians in there place.

He scares me, and i'm not even on the hotseat!

I like him :2wave:

Not that I "Like" his personality per say, but he's one of the only ones who
A) Cares about America, more than party !
B) The only one how will call out both parties when they are screwing up!
C) He cares more for the US Constitution than current political trend.

These characteristics are what America needs, yet severely lacks !

Have you seen the National Debt lately ?

U.S. National Debt: 11.4 Trillion & Clicking

Stop voting for REPS&DEMS if you want this crap to stop !!!
