You're right. There's nothing socialistic about "spreading the wealth around", or welfare, or multiculturalism, or government-run businesses, or divisive social politics, or SOCIALIZING health care. Nothing socialistic about it.

Just look the other way folks. Stick your heads in the sand until the government just owns everything. Not saying us regular folks with feel much direct pressure at first but it will arrive incrementally, until the proverbial frog has been cooked. Government agencies feed off their own existence, it's just a natural consequence of human nature - power corrupts.

The Founding Fathers handed us a near-perfect form of governance
and certain people have been trying to move as far away from that vision as possible.

As John McCain is oft heard saying, "...it just staggers the imagination."

*Standard disclaimer: This is not an endorsement of John McCain.

in the bold. you must be kidding.

if you had an entire box of them you would never get sleep. you would catch cold as well from sleeping to near the cracks.

I've caught that cold before...the mucus was horrible...:blah:

You're right. Decentralized government authority which is subordinated to the will of the people and the rule of law is a silly thing.

This move by Sarah Palin does not shock me.
