Please see the bolded parts. I think they are nearly mutually exclusive. And if by some chance he is an honest, trustworthy scientologist, then he's a "useful idiot" and I still don't want him as president.

With that said, I might hold my nose and vote for him anyway, depending on who he was running against.
 
No. I wouldn't vote for this person. I don't view scientology as a religion but as a very dangerous organization set up to con people out of their money.

No way would anyone who shares my values ever have anything to do with this "religion".

I wonder, if we rephrase the question in another poll:
Ok lets say a guy runs for the presidency. His political beliefs are the exact same as yours, he was the governor of his state for 8 years in which the state prospered in. He is honest and trustworthy and basically great in every way.

However for a religion he is a follower of the Egyptian sun god Ra, son of Isis, would you vote for him?
