Yes all the time
Yes most of the time
Not that often
"I'll govern for all the ambitions of Scotland, and for all of the people who imagine that we can live in a better land. This party, the Scottish party, your party, carries your hope, and we shall carry it carefully, and make the nation proud."
Alex Salmond, First Minister of Scotland, Scottish National Party
I only eat organic when I am at my mom's house, as that's the stuff she gets.
And for someone who fed her children all kinds of junk and crap, she sure is on some kind of high -organic food- horse, preaching to me about not feeding my child organic.
Is what you're living for today, worth dying for tomorrow?
For those of us who try to eat locally grown food from small farmers, it is also about supporting the community, eating things that have not traveled all the way from California and knowing that animals have had a humane existence while they lived.
The marketers ARE clever, though. As Michael Pollan observed , with a few exceptions, a person should run the other way if a box of food makes health claims. The broccoli bin is not festooned with nutrition claims.
Since Pollan published his books and people are slowly learning about the health hazards of H.F. corn syrup some drinks advertise "real sugar"- like it is a healthy substitute!
