I dont agree with Obama on many things, but he seems to be trying his best. I wouldnt say I aprove of him, but he is doing well enough. I have mixed feelings, lets see in 2-3 years what happens.

I answered the "neither" option. (Or whatever it said).

His recent faux pas with the speaking out against the Harvard police really threw me for a loop. I can't believe that he would make such a rookie mistake at the level he's attained. It makes me wonder about his other skills if he so easily makes such a blatant error.

I can believe it. He was a freshman senator from Illinois, and was a community organizer prior to that. That is not a lot of experience for holding the highest Executive office in America.

Yeah, but plenty of folks who've never held public office recognize how silly it was for him to get involved like he did. It's odd that he didn't stop and realize how bad of an idea it was.

More options? You either approve, disapprove, or neither. It's what you think of the job he's done as a whole.

I approve of some things, disapprove of other things. Overall, I'm still withholding judgement. However, I would say that I neither wholeheartedly approve nor disapprove.

Eh, you're right. But people do tend to change when they've got a reporter and a camera staring them in the face. (Queue NASCAR/NFL fans)

That's true. I hadn't thought of that. Of course, i'm also concerned with how much he likes being in front of the camera these days.... so.

I have to admit that for the first time since the Democratic primary I have a less than favorable opinion of my President. Like a 48/52 type of split. If things continue the way they have I only see it getting worse.

My issues are the poor execution of the stimulus package, his continuance of some GWB policies, his flip flopping on drug control, the strong arm tactics he's utilizing to try and ram his health care plan through, cap and trade, and his poor choices when it comes to selecting some of his political advisers/staff.

There is a lot of time left for him to make headway and improve my opinion of him. We'll see.
